Denver Grand Prix is coming up in a few weeks and just wondering where is a good place to get some pictures at? www.gpdenver.com/circuitmap.htm Im thinking turn 9 Centrix Corner seeing its a hairpin turn just before the finish line. The other question should i shell out some extra cash for reserved or just general admission. Never shoot at any racing event other then motor cross test track. So whatever info or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I'd check with them at the contact email address and see if you can roam the infield (to a degree) with the general admission ticket (no seat). Some tracks have infield seating areas (BYOS) and affords some pretty good possibilities for photography.

If you could stand in or adjacent to the handicapped area at turn #2 you could get some really closeup shots....can you walk with a limp  ?

Otherwise, you may find that the grandstands is what you get, and likely at this point, not the greatest seats.

I would move around , other wise you will get a lot of pics the same.

If you are lucky you can follow the sun around and keep it roughly on your back, that way the images will be better lit.
