I heard that the ALL BLACK 300D Rebel is going to be released in the US very shortly, but for some reason not in Canada.
Has anybody heard any news about this happening, and why not in Canada?

Probally because they havent sold as much of the normal 300D as expected in Canada, as a result probally doing want to throw more rebels in that direction til the normal ones get sold up.

You know, I am just not sure that I would get a black Rebel. I mean I have one of those replacement policies at CompUSA where they replace the camera if it has to be serviced. If I had the choice I just don't know if I would switch to black.

I know alot of people say that the black Canons look more professional. But it seems like all the DSLR's are black. I am just not that into being part of the pack. That and the black Rebels that I have seen have all been custom painted and have fantastic layer upon layer of paint with clear coat on top. Would a production black Rebel be as nice? The pics of the black Kiss don't look as nice to me.

Hell I would paint my with a color other than black with my logo on it somewhere if I could.

It's not the color of your equipment, it's what you produce with it ... The one has nothing to do with other.

Oh I totally agree. It is just a matter of preference. And since the release of the black Kiss the black Rebels have been the topic of alot of discussion.

Regardless of the color, you're automatically "part of the pack" when you purchase a DRebel.
