Hi everyone,
It must be me, but I can never seem to find where photographers, who display their photos at craft shows and fairs, find and buy their display and packaging materials.
What I am looking for is this: I see photos at fairs & shows that are mounted on what are probably pre-cut, bulk purchased matboard. Photos are either glued in place or are slipped in between the front of the mat and some sort of backing that is attached to maybe one or two corners of the back of the mat.
Then all these photos are slipped into clear, crystal-like plastic bags that are sort of like an envelope. The flap looks like it self-adheres to the bag and voila! Photo ready to display at a show. I have been to a site at www.photographersedge.com (http://www.photographersedge.com). They have the bags but there mats/cards only seem to go as large as 5-5/8 x 3-5/8. I would want to go as large as 8x10.
Any ideas where I can buy this sorta stuff? Would also like to buy display racks, boxes and whatever else a decent photographer would want to own so (s)he could display photography? :confused:
