I had just arrived at the wetlands this morning after sunrise when our resident green heron made this capture, barely giving me time to turn on the camera and focus on the action. The lighting is harsh and at a low angle, giving the heron an orange tint, but it works well enough for this series.

It seems that it too heard that frog's legs are a delectable dish... except it gulped down the whole thing!

Nice series - both parts 1 and 2!!

Hey, it's not over til it's over, and as far as I can see the frog ain't finished yet!! I still won't bet on the frog though!
