I've looked back over previous related posts but can't seem to find a solution? I have auto rotate set to on but when I transfer my images the Jpegs still have to be rotated (although they appear rotated ok on the camera) which can be a bit of a pain on a large number of photos, there are no such problems with my RAW images.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

What software are you using to view the JPEG images on the computer? Try something else. Some programs interpret the EXIF information in the image incorrectly and rotate the image while it is already rotated...

Problem sorted, thanks Jesper. I think the problem occured after I had rotated the image whilst viewing it using XP's picture viewer & then viewing it a 2nd time using Photoshops CS browser which like you say rotated it once again. Obviously windows viewer doesn't read the nessesary info.

One thing it is worth noting is ifyou rotate the image in XP's picture viewer it looses quality as the jpeg gets re-compressed
