I went to school with Kyle. He played at a little bar in Deep Ellum (Downtown Dallas) Saturday night.

I'd a fill flashed him.
(not really)

Very nice considering the god-awful lighting that's typical of such venues.

Number one could be his album cover.

Number two is good, except for the strong light in the mirror, which at first I thought was a flash, but how could it be, I asked my dumb self.

Number three, if I didn't know better, I'd say you used a tilt/shift, for I don't know how else you could get such narrow DOF, which make the shot for me.
Number four is nice and sharp.

Numbers 5 and 6 seem to have suffered from a bit of motion blur, but are good nonetheless.

I'm sure he'll be quite happy with them.

I like #6. Agree on the motion blur though. (and a bit of front focus)
I see no exif, but lighting looks pretty bad.

I'ld crop a bit off the bottom and left of #3. A few other images would improve as well by cropping off a few mm.

Skin tones are a bit too reddish and bright (on some) IMO.

Lighting was harshhhhhh...but again - no use whining about that, it comes with the territory!

I will go over cropping :) Thnks Rene!
