Do I get the standard matte screen or opt for the glossy screen?

I will be doing all my photography on it so not sure which one will be better..

Personally I think the matte rules, seems to offer the most accurate color/contrast reproduction, where the glossy screen seems to be a little "pumped up".

It's an expensive purchase though, so if you have the opportunity to see one in person before you buy, I would do so.

Glossy = Glare in my book. Good choice.

Not quite an answer to your question, but I'ld use a seperate monitor for any color-critical work....

cant go wrong with the matte. i have it and love it.

+1...go to an apple store (if there is one near you) the glossy screen is a reflection magnet
