I'd like to create a logo similar to the one on this website. However, I don't even know where to begin. Any help out there... I have Photoshop CS2. I am from Louisiana so the fleur di lis works for me. I'm thinking that I'll change the font and position of my company name so that it is directly copying her logo.

bludomain template.... the exact template I am working on creating my version of. It gave me some inspiration, if I can learn flash that well lmao.

Well, your best bet is to just play around with it... Try different simple fonts.

I really like the one on Meghan Boone's website. Something similar would work for me. It sweet and simple.
