Canon Eos 10D + 17-40 f4.0 gallery after one year using this great camera
Hi all,
After one year working with Canon Eos 10D, I made on-line gallery, representing small part of my product photos, mostly done with 10D and some with G2, using Bowens Esprit series Studio Flashes 2x1000 & 2x500 Ws, softboxes and other lighting equipment.
Lenses are 17-40 f4L and 28-105 f3.5-4.5
Thanks on visiting!

I like the pics :). You used the 17-40 for those close shots?

Yes, but also with 28-105, except for really close up ones. (Like back of 10D)
Those are made with G2
I use Olympus E-1 for my 10D setup photo
Thanks on comments!

Hi Misko, That's a nice collection of photos you have there. :D
Now for my off topic question, I noticed that you also have the Olympus E1, how do you like it, and how does it stack up to the 10D?

Thanks to all for compliments
For Ballen Photo
I don’t actually own E1, but I do a camera reviews for one magazine, so I had opportunity to test whole system for few weeks.
Actually, on first sight, its one very nice camera, beautifully designed and manufactured, great feeling in hand, with great lenses (on paper) with excellent f-stop/focal length ratio.
They simply has lens what are impossible to make for 35mm format.
But, camera is too expensive for 5mp body, lenses are expensive too, battery grip is something like 500$, with one (although very good, high capacity) battery+charger, and external, accessory flash is excellent. Has very high speed synch.
Also, it’s very user friendly.
But, that what sucks are photos.
Simply, not too much better that any other 5 mp camera. OK, less color noise, but also not to great resolution and not to sharp lenses and what is especially bad, there are don’t intra zooming, so even those expensive lenses sucks dust with every turn.
Finally, I’m comparing photos with 10D, and there is not too much reason for any smart Canon user to leave for Olympus.
Their format is too small, and don’t have perspective, and Canon has a lot to do, and is able to offer very nice Leica format sensor sooner or later

This is kind of how I felt all along, although I DID own an Olympus E10 in between my EOS film and digital bodies, however this sort of heated debate came up on another forum.
Thanks for you input on this. :D

Professional product photography. Good commercial stuff. If you're not making $$ at it, you should be.
