A couple of coal ships in Newcastle (Maritime Festival 2007). First up is the Ellida Ace, taking on a load of coal at the Kooragang Coal Terminal. This vessel is 289 metres long.

The second is the Serenata, a mere 225 metres long, heading up the channel to berth at The Port Waratah Coal Terminal.

Thanks Peter.
But it looks so much bigger
It does look rather large, I'm basing the length on the Newcastle Port Corp Data. Interestingly I found out that this ship ran aground last year in Japan.
