I built my own online gallery for clients to login and select their prints.
This is the only option where you don't have to share your profits. There is also no limit on the storage since most hosting companies now offer more space than you need.

I use Smugmug for hosting sports images, but take portrait and wedding orders personally. It's easier to upsell that way. ;)
I'm going to start using Candid 2000 for hosting wedding and portrait images in the very near future. Their prices are competitive with the other pro labs and the quality is wonderful. They also offer free hosting for 180 days and charge only the cost of prints plus 3.5% for credit card orders. And their customer service is excellent. I like the live chat feature and have utilized it several times.

I have had to cobble together my own turnkey solution.
I would have gone with smugmug except they will not allow me to bill customers in local currency ($AUD) and that their payment is by cheque which means I have to wait 28 days for an international cheque to clear into my bank account after waiting for them to issue cheques monthly - it's just not good enough for a digital business as far as I'm concerned. I did look at EM and Photoreflect but neither of them met my needs either.
I'm looking forward to see what zenfolio offer in their professional package.

Looks like a lot of people are choosing other. If you choose "other" would you be so kind to share who you prefer? Much thanks.

I have been with EM for 9 months - all of baseball season and most of football is done.
What I like most: Easy to use and customer service is prompt with me and my customers.
What I like least: I have no HTML knowledge and don't have time to learn right now. I wish they made it easier to customize the banner.

I use Buckeye Color Labs in Canton, Ohio for all my work: http://www.buckeyecolor.com/
I prefer to handle every order personally, reviewing it, assembling the books, etc. and don't want another entity cutting into the profits. I've been with them for around 5 years now and do everything FTP and UPS. I have no issues with their pricing/service.
I still provide paper proofs in books, but I also maintain my own online proofing gallery for orders as well as an exhibit area (with links to my blog) for fine art print sales. - Stu
