what type of PC do you have btw??

For me to se emy movies with my S1 i have to go under My pictures(where the pics are saved to the PC) and find that folder. Then the movie is in that folder with the pics..

hope that helps. You should be able to tell if the movies being uploaded also since its alot slower than the pics sending :D

im sure someone else can explain this better

How are you trying to transfer the movies? Are you using Zoom Browser? windows XP's photo utilities? A separate card reader?

I am running windows 98 SE. I don't know where the disk is for Zoom Browser. Is that the only way to transfer movies? I have the USB connection to transfer the pictures.

You'll need a USB - Compact Flash adapter (various companies make some starting at $10 on up), and the card will appear as a regular drive, from which you can copy files using Explorer. Unfortunately, Win98 doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some later versions, so you'll either need some software (like Zoom Browser - Canon may be willing to provide you a replacement CD) to let you see everything from the camera or something to make the camera, or CF card, look like an ordinary disk drive.
