I received an email this evening from a lady who works for a corporate art gallery, essentially getting prints for corporate offices to hang on their walls. She didn't say much information, instead giving me the number for her office so we can discuss things further. But, with this being one of the first true business type deals I need a couple questions answered by you more experienced folks...

They are looking for landscape photos, they are to be printed at sizes of 30"x38" at least and she also states printed at 300 dpi.

My first question resolves around that, I shoot with an XTi; giving me pictures in the 3888x2592 pixels range. Are my originals large enough to be printed at such large sizes?? I guess I don't want to get into too much talk if I can't even offer them what they want.

Then, I know this is one of the most asked questions, but for an 'art print' of that size to be placed in a corporate office, what is the price range for me to sell??

Thanks for any help!

Upres s/w are available and some labs will also upres to print larger prints.

S/W such as Genuine Fractural is very popular.

I printed from a 300D to 20X30 with great results. I think you'll do fine with the Xti. Does she want you to print or will she buy the image and print herself?

Brice, I'm sure that is something that will be discussed when I talk tomorrow with them. Thanks for letting me know that the 300D printed good at 20"x30".
