The 2007-2008 University of Calgary performing arts season started last weekend. The first production is the Pro Dance Series with professional dancers. The lighting in this production was rather strange IMO - the cross lighting was bright from floor level to maybe 2/3 meters up and then quite dark. The costumes were cut with this in mind to emphasize the light on the dancers lower legs. Visually this worked however made it very difficult for photography.

Nice set. I'ld remove the color noise in #7 though, and crop out the light in #4...

Maybe do some local curves adjustments on some to get some of the faces a bit brighter.
