I'm 38 years old & so I guess I'd be classed as a potential mature student? but I'm very interested in taking a photography course either online or maybe if the location was suitable at a college/university?
I would class myself as a very enthusiastic advanced beginner. I've read books on the subject & every magazine that comes out! Camera wise my experience is solely with digital.
Briefly my reasons for wanting to do a course are that I have no trade to speak of & for the last 20 or so years I've drifted from one job to another not really knowing what it is I want to do (or rather what I'd be happy doing). At the moment I'm together with my wife travelling around the USA & Australia whilst I/we decide where we want our futures (employment wise) to go. We both have little commitments & so settling in another country as students wouldn't be a problem for us. I live in Guernsey in the Channel Islands & so obviously a online course would be good but also relocating to the UK/USA or Oz would be ok.
I'll get to the point! Is there anyone out there who can recommended a photography course that might be of interest to me. I would want the course to be quite advanced eventually leading to some sort of recognition that would help me pursue my wish to work within this field.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
