i had an itch to get out and shoot, so i lined this up last minute. the guys are a young band with a lot of potential. they get a little cheesy, but i guess it make for a good picture. very talented players.
the lighting was a little tough as most of it was back light with a few cans up front.
exif intact. lightroom used, rené's (suggested) sharpening action to finish.

Nice set. I like #2, 3 (maybe crop a bit) and 4.

What were your sharpening settings in LR?

I see in #1 and 2 the same that ManykSRS did in some of my images: accentuate the noise.
I dialed the action down a bit, but also I use different settings for sharpening in LR now:

Detail tab, top to bottom:
3;
9;
50;
0,5;
90;
64.

I think that works better.

sharpen setting in lr are the defaults. i just upgraded from 1 to 1.2 last week, and there is a lot that has changed. i have noticed the the manykSRS is a bit much now. i will try your settings. thanks.
also have yet to make it through the article you posted but that will be soon. thanks for the info!!!

Oh man, I love Tea Leaf Green. Been to a few of their shows.

I really like number 7 def. the best of the bunch.

thanks. they are a good group of guys, and seem to get better every time i see them. it seems like they are always making laps around the country.

7 is def my best full band shot.
