Here's a shot I got on the East Sea in South Korea. They call it the sea of Japan in most other places.
It does a lot for me so I would love some criticism. I acknowledge that the white shirt might be a tad blown out due to improper exposure and some contrast adjustments in PS. Tell me if that is distracting please. I still really struggle with black and white shots.

Thanks for your comments in advance.

Very nice picture. Blown-out shirt doesn't bother me as much as the horizon. Anytime there is a horizon in a shot, you should adjust camera to keep it straight or it can be easily done in PS. Nonetheless, a nice moment.....and I like the B&W!

ok, I changed it. Too often I forget to level the horizon. I should have used exposure bracketing so that I had more options with that blown-out shirt.
Any other criticism? COME ON!!!!

I think you can save the blown out shirt, but need to see the original.
First one is better, except for the tilting.
The crane in the horizon is really distracting.
I would also clone out the (dragon?)fly and the hook/bate as well as the little handle of the wheel behind his back.

Nice picture, I like the repetition of the fishing pole and the construction arm in the background. They're both pointing the same direction and I found it is kind of interesting. Like henkbos said, clean up the dragon fly and the wheel, it makes the picture bit cleaner

I like it a lot, try to crop it a bit from the top and the right side, I think it'll give the fisherman more ""role" ....

If you're going to post in "Critique", you've GOT to give us EXIF info to work with! I'd have taken that shot almost wide open to isolate him from the background, probably ISO 100 @ f-2.5 & 1/3200 sec. using a 105mm lens. But, that would be in a pefrect world!
