Not alien, not from another world, just poor deep sea residents who've gotten yanked up to the surface and killed. Don't blame them for wanting to live down there, but now they are being invaded by the gawkers up here.

So what's the big deal other than blood and dead fish?

well they are rarely seen species... I haven't seen half of them. And I don't they are being "invaded" by people. Judging from the pictures it looks like they are there for research purposes, not just killed for pleasure or for food... I know I wouldn't eat those things.
