Noob website on photography?

Just wondering if there is a noob website for photography? Basically explaining f stops, apeture, shutter speeds, etc. I was reading the manual for my 300d last night and I will be trying out the camera later on today for the first time. I definitely will be trying different things out, just want to get an idea what things mean so I have a better idea on how to work the camera and get the shots I want. Thanks for any help.
