I want to get into more "in studio" work and am looking to get a small kit. The photos I will be shooting will be mostly body landscape, playing with light/shadow and other maybe other portraiture.
Which would be better continuous lighting or flash?
What is the advantage of one over the other?
Thanks everyone.

I don't know alot about lighing, but from what I have seen: Continous lighting is easier to set up since you can see the effect immediately.
Flash lighting isn't anywhere near as hot as continuous lighting. And thus you have recieved the whole of my lighting knowledge.

Depending on your needs if your doing still life continuous lighting is the way to go but if you plan on doing people Strobes is the very best way to go.
