As I think I've mentioned before, I'm a photography student. Lately, I've had several friends ask me to shoot for them. I would very much like to break into this field but have never shot anyone other than family before. With the last week or two I've been asked to shoot:
senior portraits
modeling portfolio
family holiday portraits
and a shoot of a friends restaurant, just random shots indoors.
i'm a little concerned because I'm not sure I'm ready for this. I just have a film slr and that makes editing a little more difficult. They have just seen some of the stuff I've been shooting and asked me to do it without any solicitation from me. They just like my work.
Any suggestions? I'm aware that the photographer is what makes good pictures not the equipment and thank god! LOL i don't have many toys! I plan to do all the shots outdoors (with the exception of the restaurant, of course)
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
