Off-Camera Shoe Cord 2

Does anyone know if this cord will work with my 300D and 380EX? Instruction sheet says 300EZ, 420EZ, 430EZ, 540EZ, 480EG are useable flashes, but it is old and may predate ETTL.There are five contacts which seem to be the same as the ones on the camera and Speedlite. I would guess this means the camera and flash will be completely useable, which means ETTL will be enabled. Comments appreciated...

Yes I believe it will :)
It works with my 420ex (which died :( ), my 580ex and it works with my old cheap Kodak manual flash.

If it'll fire on camera then it'll fire using the cord
