Dancing smoke

I thought I'd have a bash at a smoke picture after getting inspiration from this site. Tell me if you think it works or not, or if there is anything I could do to improve the image.

how did you apply the colours? Feathering?

Thanks! Colour was added very simply. Just created new hue/saturation layers to get the colours and then deleted a bit from each with a soft brush.
