Canberra gig. A small riser instead of a stage - a really typical pub.
5D. 85mm f1.8 iso 1250
I realised that this gig's story was really the crowd. I concentrated on the lead singer and the mosh. Mostly male audience; toughs/highschoolers.

They look great mate. They portray the atmosphere well - reminds me of why I want an f/1.8 lens. :)

I like #1 and 3 but would crop out the guy in the blue lit white shirt: Takes the attention from the singer. Also you might want to lighten the singer somewhat...
Also: Filter or hood on the lens? I would remove the filter, and put the hood on. (There's pretty much flare in #1 and 3)

Yeah, don't like white clothes on stage at all, but what can you do. Agreed, I could d&b the singer a bit.

Nice.. I especially like the first and third. I think you're right in that the broader focus here works well.
