Should I be thinking the "eyes need more light/Pop?

The lighting in this image is quite good. I don't think you could improve on any part of it. Good composition, good lighting, good tonal range, good poses, etc.

Thank You! Though I must admit, it was a bit of luck (which most of my shots are :( ). This was the 1st of a couple. This was the "keeper" of the bunch.

Very nice image. I think the tiny bit additional contast and some more saturation will lift the haze that is stopping this image from popping.

Great lighting, but I not so sure about the background, like the scoreboard and those bright numbers.
My guess is that you kept the scoreboard behind to show the name of the team, but also that is partly covered by the horizontal yellow pole.
Just my thoughts.
How did you achieve such a uniform lighting?

Well, this one is a hit. Just keep shooting and read. Read lots. I've learned soo much from just reading and shooting.

Overall a great shot.
The girls #4, #23 and #6 have slight drop shadows on their faces.
2 solutions:
1> use shadows & highlights in Photoshop
2> use a little more fill flash
Just a thought,
