430ex not reporting FL correctly with 24-105

My 430ex says 14mm on the LCD with my 24-105. Anyone else have this problem, or is this a known issue?

sounds like you have the diffusion panel out. Return it to the stored position and be sure that you have the flash pointed straight forward other wise it will not change automatically when you zoom your lens.

Mine does the same thing on different lenses... but since I almost always use the difussion panel, I will have to check it out after seeing what Phil just said! :-o
