Hey folks,

Had some time to play around a bit last night. C&C is greatly appreciated.

I like it. Great color! Maybe crop some of the red on top?

Nice, how about use it against a different background color? that way the red dice would stand out more.

yep. I would try to take another photo, but on black background. I think it would look far better then.

the fake blur doesn't work for me so much. unless i'm wrong an youre using a 1.2 lens...!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I did indeed think about using a black background, but ended up deciding I wanted a lighter look to it.

@ djharmonix: You are correct sir, it is not a 1.2 lens. The blur, however, is 90% real. I had to add some in post to the die to match the DoF in the rest of the shot.

@NZDoug: I dpn't gamble either - just a poor college student, if you couldn't tell by the 1 doller bill. A 100 would have been much sexier.

I personally like the extra space on top of the image. It gives more of a "dropping" "anxious and anticipating" feel to the photo. The blur doesnt bother me at all and I think the red background and the DIE (SINGULAR lol) blending with it, give even more sense of motion here.

Great shot. thanks for sharing. :)
