how many different venues have you shot in?

i typically assign the venue in the metadata when i'm processing my photos, and just did a quick count...i've got 21 different venues listed, though about half have just been one-offs. the venue i've shot the most in by far is the Middle East (both upstairs and downstairs), followed by the Paradise, Museum of Fine Arts or PA's Lounge.

I've shot the most, by far, at a local club named Brick By Brick. I don't know why I waste my time; the lighting, at best, sucks. After that, it's probably House Of Blues; I've shot there a number of times.

I've had the chance to shoot a few other "pro" venues; Humprey's Concerts By The Bay, Viejas Casino, and I can only hope I get to shoot them again. They've got great lighting.

As for the total number of venues, it's probably less than a dozen...

Mostly Atak.
Somemetimes in other venues close by: Metropool, Burgerweeshuis, Gigant.
A few small annual festivals, and some one time shoots in a few different clubs.
Probabely about 15 in total.

I've primarily shot at one venue. Penn's Peak, about 70+ different National and International bands...
With the exception of only one performance at the Mauch Chunk Opera House... Both venues are in sparsely populated, Carbon County, (Southern portion of the Poconos) in Pennsylvania...

I have the option of shooting Festivals and additional venues just 3 miles down the road in the Lake Harmony area... Have yet to do so...

Around 30, but many are tiny bars etc. that have our local Texas musicians come play. More if I were to count festival like shows/venues. Since I go for the music, I usually drag the camera along.

i've come up with over 50 just off the top of my head, and that is from coast to coast. i've shot widespread panic at (at least) 14 venues (theaters, arenas, and stadiums) . i've got a ten count on venues here in atlanta. 11 in memphis where i lived last. 12 festivals.

i like the question and should get a final count. i am sure i am not thinking of a lot of what i have shot.

Hmm you know that is a good question. probably about 30-50 total in many different states and in Canada. I have 17 in my area alone that I keep track.

Depends what you call a venue! I've shot at 5 or 6 'real' venues...you know with full size stages and actual lights, but I've also shot at dozens of house shows, tiny bars, etc. that I'd put in a different category.;)
