Thank you both very much, I've been trying some new things, plus we added a little more variety in feeders. Just the last 3 days we've seen the usuals, plus the Cardinals came back, and for the first time we've had Blue Jays, Dark Eyed Juncos, Crows, Hawk, Downy WP's, and a few others. At some times, I don't even know where to shoot first;). I'm in the process of setting up more perches too, so between all that and the great advice from you guys here, hopefully my composition will finally improve a bit.

Thank you rw2 for the very kind comment. The amazing and impressive work by all the members on this forum, inspires me to keep practicing and trying new things to improve my photographs. I've learned more here this past year or so, than I've learned in the last 30 years of just playing with cameras. Now if some of the less ordinary birds in the area would just learn to pose on the sticks like the Sparrows do;)...

This may be one of the most important aspects in order to get a good variety of good birds on good perches...sounds good? Good. This is an often overlooked detail in backyard bird photography...
