I want a filter for my lens - some say not to bother, but I plan to keep it.
Is the above the best to get?

Recommended multicoating in Hoya filters is the S-HMC, Super Hoya Multicoating. It's on a par with B+W's MRC and Heliopan's SH-PMC multicoating.

Don't use a filter on my nifty as I only use it indoors. Buying a multicoted Hoya or B+W might cost about half as much as the lens. :D
