White throated sparrows

These guys usually hang out in my yard for a few weeks during summer and fall migration. There are many hopping around under the feeders, and I'll miss them when they go! There was also a song sparrow, but I wasn't able to get a shot.

Really beautiful light Liz. I have been waiting for mine. They went through last spring and stayed for about 2 days. Haven't seen them yet though, on the return.

Thanks all for looking. They are cute little birds and yesterday was the first chance I'd had to get any decent shots. Looks like the rest of the week will be rainy, so they will probably be gone before I get to another try!

Great light and great BG. The bird is sharp and the second shot works especially well showing off the white throat.
