I watched him for a while and he spent the whole time in motion, flying over the surface
of the water to snatch a bug and then off to the nest or whatever, then right back at it.

Bob...great capture of a really cool bird...Man you have to get yourself a DSLR . You will kick yourself later for waiting for so long...The powershot is just not made for what you're trying to do...You have a good eye for compostition and a love of birds...you have gone beyond that camera...Sell something and buy yourself the DSLR and you will be amazed. I had a powershot and ran into a pro that looked at what I was doing, and he said the same thing to me...I bought the xt first and found out I had been missing out on some great stuff that the powershot couldn't do....I have the xti now and will most likely go to the 40D when the bugs are worked out. Just giving you a gentle push....steve P.S. I'm no pro but I love shooting birds....

Thanks for taking the time to look. A lot of folks from Washington come to Yuma
for the winter.--Bob
