Are there any cool looking straps for the 30D/5D etc cameras aside from the usual black/red striped Canon straps?

I am looking for different colors and unusual patterns but having the same wideness and quality as the factory Canon straps.

Try Tamrac - excellent quality, durability and feature set at a good price. But to be honest, I'm more concerned about build quality than flashiness. Matter of fact, when I'm walking around the city I really don't want the strap screaming out to people - stealth is good.... but then that's just me.

Excellent selection Liza - better than mine :D. The neoprene material gives a really nice cushion effect which is especially welcome when you have long, heavy lenses. It really reduces some of the strain and is VERY comfortable.

Try the POTN Support Shop.

Very interesting..... just make sure they grip your shoulder well. Some look great but will slide off your shoulder in an instant, giving little security to the camera. Various foam, rubber and some leather will give excellent grip on clothing.

I'd worry the metal endings scratching parts of the camera

I like stealth too...I wish the 30D strap did not have the red line on it, it would be nice if it was all black like the 300D one.

Those metal points will be trouble - cameras get shoved in bags and other tight places, and with those metal loops scratching up against the LCD and other "soft" parts you'll bound to have aggravation.

Stick with something that has plastic or nylon components.

I'd worry the metal endings scratching parts of the camera

The top one is a pimp looking strap. Where did you find that? I like it.

I have the strap pictured at the bottom for my Canon AE-1. ;)

The Op/Tech POTN straps are great. I purchased one to show my support for the community, but purchased additional straps directly from Pro Camera Gear on ebay for a little less...

The best camera straps I've used so far.

I don't like the unfinished edge on the PotN strap... So I buy a different optech strap from B&H instead:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/170171-REG/Op_Tech_USA_1001082_Super_Classic_Camera_Strap.htm l

and then put the short connectors on it too:

basic, black, stitched ends. Perfect.

Never liked the Canon strap, picked up the POTN to show support and have fallen in love with it. Definitely the most comfortable strap I've ever had.

That does look like a better more comfy Op/Tech strap. I might have to check that out.
