Took this with the 50 on the left and my 28-135 on the right. The 50 is definitely sharper! Definitely worth the $75. Both are at f/4. This is a 100% crop so it's pretty big...

Much nicer with the 50mm, but then the 28-135mm never was the sharpest lens in the bag. :)

:lol: True enough. Anyway, leaving my unreasonable prejudice against the 28-135mm aside for a minute, the 50mm you have looks to be a fine lens. Congratulations!
