Here are a couple of local landmarks in my town. I am thinking of going to the local Chamber of Commerce with them to see if they may interested in buying them and/or having me do more them. What do you think??

John,

the resolution of the shots is not very high, so it's a tad difficult to critisize them.

I like the first one, but am not totally sure if it's not too much of the effect ... Do you have other compositions with a less pronounced perspective effect? Also the shot is 'leaning' a bit. If the horizon was straight, it was less distracting.

I think the second one would be more interesting if you observed the rule of thirds and placed the station more to the right of the photo ... less zoom, and a bit more open space on the left side.

Also, I find the copyright a bit distracting

Best regards,
Andy

Wouldn't a Manassas picture require a Civil War-type setting? I realize it's
a trite and hackneyed theme for such an historical place, but that's the
fate of cities that are focal points to great memorable events.

The first is a "clock" pic. If I saw more of the building behind, it might be a "Manassas" pic.
The 2nd has too much of the station in shadow to be interesting to me. Choose an overcast day, or a time of day when the light is more from the side - shortly after sunrise or before sunset will give your pic some interesting shades of color, too.
Keep at it.

Thanks for the input. Not sure why the resolution is bad, the originals are very sharp. The clock was a little off so I rotated the pic a little which threw off the horizon. Not sure how to correct both. I like the perspective but I guess that is a subjective thing. I thought all of the diagonals in the second one compensated for the lack of use of thirds. I will have ot back and try again with more space on the left.
As for the Civil War theme thing, Here are a couple:
