i went to a concert a couple weeks ago, it was a pretty small venue, so i though i would try to take some shots. i had a lot of fun shooting these, and i would just love some feedback on them.

I would have liked #1 with a tad more light behind the face, to show a bit more profile. #2 would like to see face a bit sharper. Looks like focus on guitar? I like #3. It is art, which photography should be. 4 and 5 OK, but don't jump at me, and I kind of like #6. It is nice to see shots that make you look a bit, or maybe something different than the normal shots of musician / face / microphone. Thanks for sharing what YOU saw that night at the show.

those pictures are pretty underexposed. i can't really see anything. maybe it's just my screen.

can't underexposed photos be changed in RAW to brighten up?

jonni,
yeah, i think that's why these seemed more interesting to me, i took planty of the "normal shots of musician / face / microphone" also. thanks alot for the feedback. appreciate it.
joetaco and fivefps,
i know they are pretty dark, i kind of liked that about them. but i will try to adjust, and see what i get.
thanks alot,
alex

#1 is too dark.
#2 isn't focussed where I'd want it to be. Would have been nice otherwise.
#3 I like. I might've cropped a bit closer. You'ld need one with a bit more face to go with it, but the atmosphere & lighting in this one is nice.
#4 & 5 don't work for me: uninteresting lighting & action in #4, mic stand in #5. Also, I'ld have framed both different.
#6 is nice, but I think it's slightly strange to see just this one foot: He looks at the brink of falling over somehow. This gets worse when you crop it I think, something I would have done otherwise.
