These are my first shots with my recent purchased 1D mkIIn, hand held due to forgetting my monopod

Great timing Lawrie, but they look just a tad soft to me, especially the first one and the one in the other thread - is your lens working OK?

As it stated in the post this is at 500mm hand held on Saturday when it was blowing a gale so I expect it to be soft, Other than that I am very impressed with the new body.

I was there to take the photos, I was the Chief of Recovery, On the Red Quad's with the trailer. I had the Black open face helmet.
