It's a phenomenal lens. :) I wish all Canon lenses gave as much bang for your buck as the 50 1.4.

great lens... Do you think it's worth the extra $200 to get it? I still haven't bought my 50 1.8 yet. Still deciding.
Thanks

I'd like to get this one as well. I love my Nifty, but this seems like a great lens.
Very nice photo. Colors, texture, composition... I dig it. I can't wait, I have a reservation at a hotel up in the mountains of Arkansas for the first weekend in November. That's when the colors are supposed to peak up there and I can't wait to be there to capture it all. Lodges were all booked up so I had to settle for an Inn, but it's worth it, in my opinion, for shots like this! :)
