Capture 1 education

I've always been a jpeg shooter, but have become very interested in shooting RAW, based on discussion I've seen here. From what I've read, C1 is the software of choice for processing RAW images. What I'm curious about, though, is there a good book anywhere that goes into how to use it? I haven't downloaded the software yet, so maybe it comes with some documentation, but I'd really like a "how-to" type of book that will walk me through various scenarios (i.e. how to increase exposure levels when you underexposed the picture, etc.).

I've gotten fairly decent at using PS7 with my jpeg files... it just sounds like there's alot more to learn with processing RAW images, though.

Any recommendations?

It is a bit confusing at first, so don't give up easily. I love C1, and think it's worth the time.

Just to be fair, if you have Photoshop CS you can process RAW files, and BreezeBrower is another favorite. And you can download a trial version of that, too.

I recognize the West Montage and wondered who did that.....that's very nice. Did you get any orders on this? I think I recognized some former students. Isn't Abbey Sones in one of your pictures? I like your website...I need to get one for my part time business...Brunsvold Photography...Was the website difficult to create?/expensive? Thanks...I do the student recognition pictures at west and teach zoology.
