Is there any hope left for my A80?

Earlier today while working on my car it suddenly began to rain and guess who was sitting in the passenger seat?...

...my A80.

After drying it off, I tried to turn it on and see if everything was ok. It was fine for about 2 whole seconds. Then the screen turned into a redish color and started to look like a tv with bad reception. After that I just removed the batteries and sat the camera infront of a fan on the high speed setting.

I'd really like to save this camera for which I payed almost $400 for early this year. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If it's going to recover, it'll need to get thoroughly dry. Let it dry for several days. If you have, or can get some humectant, like silica gel, after the first couple of days, put it in a plastic bag in the sun (clear, so if moisture starts condensing on the bag, you can see it and take action) with it. Then try it.
