I was wondering if someone could suggest me some monopods. I'm not trying to spend $129038219 just a decent price.

I use the Manfrotto 680B, topped off with their 486RC2 ball head. It is fairly inexpensive and extremely versatile package for all sorts of photography.

I use a Feisol CM-1401 monopod topped with the 486RC2 ballhead, both components well built, works great, and you get a carbon fiber monopod at a very good price.

Monopod is really not some rocket science ;) It's just a stick, and pretty much anything what they sell under "monopod" does it's work fine. If you want to be sure, go for something from Manfrotto or Gitzo. Nothing of that costs $1234567 :)

The Sunpak Versipod is pretty cool http://www.amazon.com/Sunpak-VersiPod-Monopod-Tripod-MagMount/dp/B000G0XM68/
Only problem is that it doesn't collapse very small.
