For those with 10D know-how, please enlighten me on the following perplexing ?s

Is the UsB connection 1.xx on the 10D?
Will it work with a USB 2.0 port on my PC?
Is downloading time an issue?
Is Firefire coming soon in next gen?

2) yes (it should)
3) no... because most people use a USB 2 cardreader :)

1. Yes; 2. Yes; 3. Yes, get an USB 2.0 card reader; 4. No, probably not, and it's not really a big issue, just use a card reader.
