I opened my email this am and have another "potential" customer. I am not getting almost one a month. I must be on the scam email list. They are getting a little better but still their english is bad and they are scream scammer:
Hello,
My name is Mr Mandee, i based here in US..my son is getting married and
the wedding date which was fixed by the couple is on 24th November
2007.
So i am looking for photographer or videographer,i want a very
simple and creative shooting for both photography and videography. The
location of the wedding is in United States and the event will be about
7 hours long.
Meanwhile i will like you to get back to me:
1....if you will available for that date
2.....The quotation for the period of the service.
Regards
----The moron did not even put his name after the regards! I am thinking about email him back telling him how interested I am in his United States photography opportunity but he has to pay me in cash! Not cashiers check but cash.

So his son is getting married in the United States? Talk about providing you with details as to the location! Next, we'll have something like:
"The location of the wedding is on Earth and I would like to offer you an Earth wedding photography opportunity, for which all your expenses will be covered. This is my only son and I am open to your price for a 7-hour long package."
You should tell them that because the wedding is in the states, the price is actually 100 times that posted on your website. That or when you received the fraudulent cheque, let them know that it doesn't cover all of your costs and that they need to send you another one. At least, they would have to pay for postage a few times!

UPDATE:
I emailed "Mr. Mandee" and told him I could take care of it for $6500 cash in small unmarked bills. He obviously does not speak the language well and here is his response:
