I was 2nd shooter (for A Fine Image) for this wedding, and was assigned to the guys when i got there. they were a fun group, and during the course of shooting these photos the groom (glasses no beard) ripped a button off his tux (on the swingset), and sprained his ankle (jumping from the steps). c/c are good, and there will be more to come as i'm sure someone will ask for b/g together. enjoy

Nice shots. I really like 1 and 6. 4 and 7 really show the guys having a lot of fun; the photos however, need a bit of straightening. 3 is the only one that really isn't doing anything for me.

What a fun group! I really like #2! The jumping shots are fun...I'm sure they'll like those. I like the DOF in 6. I'm not sure what's going on in #5, and #3 is not flattering to her at all.

thanks for the comments bob. i did, however leave the photos slightly slanted (the jumping ones, anyway) on purpose. the best man speech photo could use a bit of straightening though. thanks

thanks, #5 is the best man speech. a quote from that speech: "...i was 3 years old when adam squirted out of my mom's undercarriage..." he was a comedian, and i think his family was expecting much worse. it was the funniest speech i've ever heard at a wedding.

If you are going to tilt these two jumping photos, I think I would tilt them more than what you did, to make it look more obvious. With all the horizontal lines in the photo, it looked to me like they were just a little off, instead of you doing that on purpose. Just my .02.

They look like a fun goofy group to shoot. I am sure they will love the pics. Thanks for sharing.

Josh,

I agree with Lawrence. A slight tilt make it look like an accident and not you do it on purpose.

On the other hand the tilting on the speech picture is all right. I guess it's because if the focused object looks very straight.

Anyway, awesome set.
Agree with previous poster, not really a fan of # 3.

#4 is just plain fun ... reminds me of Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon"

#6 I really like this shot, the lighting and your focal point draw the viewer right in (he kinda reminds me of Woody Allen in that shot)

thanks everyone. i'm going to un-tilt the jumping shots i think, by popular demand.

I like them. Being an unconventional guy its nice to see a bride and groom willing to try new things. I've shot about 20 as a second and 2 as a primary and all of them were just boring and stiff. No sense of adventure or individualism. Many couples get caught up in the "traditional" ways. Keep it up man!! Good work
