Help with my business card:

I'm going for a 2 sided clean layout that's somewhat simple, but has a bit of originality with it... Not easy, but here goes:

Depends on the type of work you do........bill hicks has a little biker rebel look to it. I personally like it but would feel safer about dominican.

The last two are very good. Not sure you can go wrong with any of them. Good job.

yeah, I just realized I don't need the address or the phone number until I do have a studio or gallery (dreaming)...

yeah, I was thinking about that but if someone needs to email me, has their phone, but doesn't want to find the address online that way, I'd rather them be able to just sit down and type it into whatever they're emailing from...

Good point. I'm in the middle of designing my card too. :D

I like this second version even more then the first one though just feel like therse a huge waste of space at the back. Using that red color there could be intresting and work well. Though to be honest its probebly beter that way then clutterd up with filling material with no purpurse.

Even if you dont have your residential phone nummer perhaps puting your cell phone number on your card wouldent be a bad idea.

Heres a fast example of what i hade in my mind for the back though dident get the red in :P and not sure if i like it more then a simple grey back.

Here's another thought: instead of leaving the email off, could we get away with leaving the site off? Before anyone calls me crazy, this only works if your email is at your URL, but mine is... It's going to be BEN at BenJacobsenPhoto.com. So maybe if I put that on there in 2 different colors that could be both? Simple is better... But I need people to be able to get to the site. Email is less important, but I want it there too... Would people get it if it's both in one?

I changed my mind on my card. I have my website, but I removed my physical address and added my e-mail. :rolleyes:

I prefer horizontal cards, just my preference. :D

I think I'm liking that vertical card layout, but I feel it could use just a little more something on the front of it. I can picture it with just an outline or silhoutte of something in that 18% gray. If I were at home I could give an example, but I'm stuck at work (as usual).

Yes, but currently I'm only selling prints, and I only do that through my site and a gallery in town... So there is nothing for people to call about. They can't see the images over the phone so they really can't call to order them, and if they need to see them in person, that's what the gallery is for.

If I find I need a phone in the future for this I'll gladly add it, but right now I just have my personal cell and home numbers, and I don't really see people needing to call me since I'm not shooting by request yet. Once that happens, then I'll need a cell, but as you said, I'll get a new number on a cheap plan just for the business.
