I read this last night. Sounds like a great idea to me.
One thing that I've hated about using my 1D is that I can no longer realistically use a warming filter. I would have to custom white balance before I put the filter on, and then put the filter on -- redoing this in every setup. Otherwise the AWB just compensates for the filter.
Shotting a custom white balance isn't a problem. But having to do it without the filter and then put the filter back on gets to be a problem.
These look good... plus they're 100 IRE white on the back for a "normal" white balance.
I placed my order. I'll post back here once I get them and let people know how they work.

P.S. I'm hoping this will save me some of the cost of buying 58/67/77mm filters. Ouch! I'm crossing my fingers that I'll just be able to get away with a diffuser, polarizer, and UV using this kit.
