Those of you who know me at all know that I'm a big film fan, and I shoot using 4 different formats. This all happened after I got utterly sick of my DSLR, and especially editing on the computer.

But there are moments that the DSLR is made for, that certainly aren't worth a piece of film -- like when you open the lid of a seldom (i.e. never) used toilet and find a frog there:

I have to admit, after seeing the frist photo I did wonder what I was looking at.....

I've seen many brown lumps in many toilets. But none of them had eyes or toes.

There's deffinitly cause for concern if a brown lump winks at you.........

too funny.... I've had this happen to me twice but they were Cuban Tree frogs that would then jump out of the toilet and stick to the wall... very hard to catch.

It looks like a toad to me.

I guess it's better than that story of the woman in NYC who found a python in her toilet!

First of all, I'm in North Carolina, not northern California.

Second of all, I think the frog thought he was in a natural environment. I relocated him to a more mutually agreeable one, i.e. the back yard.

I knew someone would comment on that.

This toilet has been used literally zero times in the 16 months we've been in this house. But it HAS been cleaned a few times. It builds up this mildew on the surface when the water is stagnant, and then it leaves a ring as the water evaporates.

It's probably rife with frog crap as well, for all I know.

Toilet cleaning is part of life (except perhaps for the male gender forum participants - but then I've been married for 43 years and have learned a few things about life from my wife).
