c and C please. I do not have a calibrated monitor so anything about color would be helpful

Love the colors and the softness, but I'd use just a smidge less blur...maybe add a little light to her face...did I say love the colors! My ancestors were all Scots...must be the sash.

Agree, too much blur, particularly on the face. You might also want to reduce it a bit on the chair and plant in the background - they've got a halo.
Colours are nice, I would add just a touch more contrast...

It's actually a great image if you dropped the blur and lessened the vignette.

great shot but the facial blur is way to much. I like the soft looking background and dress though.

I agree with what has been said...a bit too much blur on the subject. Also, usually the face shouldn't be the darkest part of the subject...or significantly darker than parts of the background. The viewer's eye is drawn to the brightest spots...and a good portrait draws the eye to the subject's face.

Agree with what has been said so far plus... I think there is too much 'clutter' in the image. Imagine this same shot but remove the framed photos from the side table and move the whole coffee table (on the left) out of the shot completely. Light her up more brighter than the room light as well.

I agree that the major concern is the light. Her face should be the emphasis and because the key light is not on her face, it distracts the viewer to other objects.
