has anyone seen my shoe?

Just got my 350D so i'm still learning how to use it to its best. Also im not the best landscape photographer ever. Anyway enough chat, heres my picture:

Constuctive critism would be nice.
(I think it may be a bit underexposed)

Welcome to the forum!
not to be harsh or anything, nothing in the picture really makes me go WOW. also, the sky is in half of the image and the ground is in the other half, which is a definite nono in landscape photography. try to frame your main subject in 1/3 of the frame (also known as the rule of thirds)
other than that, good composure and keep shooting!

A good start.. I don't think the half and half composition works well here (though it certainly does sometimes!).. keep at it!

Yeah i've just been looking through this forum and there are some unbelieveable landscapes.
So you would suggest the ground being 1/3rd and the sky being 2/3rds?
Didnt help that the weather is terrible haha.

I am no expert, in fact I'm just a newb myself, but I would agree with your comment and make the ground 1/3.

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the above posts and you'll get it, just keep at it. It's also a little dark for me.
