The better half and moi (dawg is comin too) are out of here tomorrow for a well deserved break. Heading up north to see if there are still fish in the lakes and deer walking the trails. I have hired Pinkertons to stand guard while we are away and have taken the precaution of having placed the contents of the house in storage. As well, Lou's Gravel and Paving should have finished the front and back yard by early noon. However the next door neighbour has a goodly supply of Blue and EX in the fridge in the garage if anyone just happens to drop by.
Enjoy the week.
We be gone.

Have yourself some fun!
Myself, I think I'm going to hold off on partying at your place this time. Hell, most of the good stuff is gone, and you never replace anything. You think that you'd hit a garage sale and get some new stuff for us to play with.
And the lawn mower races were fun, but gravel-truck racing is not so fun, and if it's a union site then I'm not touching anything...
Have a blast! Bring back some pics!

No, Ian, DON'T have a blast. If I'm not mistaken, dynamite fishing is illegal, isn't it?
But DO have lots of fun, though, and try not to bother the deer too much, OK? After all the stalking you've been doing with them all winter, I think they were hoping for a little break from you in the summer. I guess they weren't counting on their summer vacation spot being the same place as yours, huh?
Have a happy and safe vacation! :)

Tom, I thought you were in Reno checking out the hot rods or is that this coming weekend? :?

Leo:
I am in Reno. I'm sitting in my customary room at the Nugget Hotel looking out over a splendid sunrise.
I'm taking pictures of cars like crzay. Who knows? One of them might be good enough to share.
I tried to talk IandD into coming to this thing, but he said that his annual dynamite fishing trip was simply too big a part of his life. He says there are thousands of fish he want to teach to float on their backs.
Later,
Thos.

Doh! But of course! The marvel of modern telecomputing. How could I not have known? Especially considering the fact that I'm in IT and we do it all the time when we're on the road.
BTW, while you're enjoying that splendid sunrise, don't forget to snap a couple of shots of it to share with people like me who's not a morning person and hence has no clue what a sunrise looks like, especially one over the desert.
